I am a UK-based illustrator. My practice explores narrative through space, often using three-dimensional structures to construct scenes and environments. I primarily work with paper, building detailed compositions through layering and focusing on dramatic light and shadow to create atmosphere and depth. I usually work with a limited colour palette, allowing the structure, textures, and forms within the piece to stand out.
My illustrations use humour to evoke playful responses to briefs through clear graphical compositions. I am interested in how narrative worlds and communication can be made through the use of light, space, and composition.
